Eventide has released H9000 Gen2 firmware 3.2.4, adding a set of immersive algorithms for Quad, 5.1, 5.1.2 and 7.1 work.

The update adds MicroPitch Immersive, Valley and Upmixer configurations in the supported multichannel formats. Valley is also available as a new stereo algorithm. The immersive algorithms are located in the H9000 browser’s 9700 bank, while new immersive FX Chains begin in the 1800 bank.

The addition gives the Gen2 processor dedicated multichannel options for Eventide’s MicroPitch treatment, reverb and adapting sources to immersive formats, rather than relying solely on stereo processing within a larger routing scheme.

Eventide is now maintaining separate firmware branches according to the DSP modules installed in an H9000: Gen1 systems use version 2.x firmware, while Gen2 systems use version 3.x. Gen1 firmware 2.4.8 adds Valley in stereo but does not include the new immersive suite.

Eventide recommends updating through Emote 3.1.6.
