Grass Valley will demonstrate Production Replay X in its AMPP environment at IBC 2026, bringing replay, clip playback and highlight creation into the company’s software-based production platform.
The application is designed for hybrid and distributed productions, with browser-based access and integration with Grass Valley’s Framelight X media-management environment. Grass Valley says markers and edits created in Production Replay X can flow to Framelight X without duplicating media, allowing replay operators, editors and producers to work from the same material.
The company is also updating LiveTouch X, its sports-replay system, with multicamera controls for selecting and switching angles during highlight creation. Other additions include expanded audio monitoring, faster navigation and clearer on-air feedback. LiveTouch X also connects directly with Grass Valley’s triple-speed LDX cameras, according to the company.
Elsewhere in the AMPP lineup, Grass Valley will show AMPP Commentator, a browser-based commentary application that provides program monitoring, microphone and talkback control, and an audio return into AMPP. The recently released Audio Cart application handles playout of short-form production audio including music, stings and audience effects.
