The announced H715 system combines open-back headphones with software developed with Sonnox, including H715-specific calibration profiles, adjustable crossfeed and a macOS virtual-monitoring application.
ADAM Audio has introduced the H715 Reference, an open-back headphone system the company positions for studio monitoring and mastering. ADAM Audio lists the H715 as its flagship open-back headphone.
The central development is the accompanying monitoring software. ProSoundWeb reports that ADAM Audio developed the software with Sonnox: the Headphone Utility plug-in provides H715-specific calibration profiles and adjustable crossfeed, while the ListenHub macOS application is intended for audio analysis, comparison and virtual monitoring. ListenHub can also host plug-ins for system-wide calibration, according to the report.
The combination puts headphone correction and crossfeed controls alongside the hardware for engineers handling critical headphone-monitoring and comparison work. ProSoundWeb reports that the H715 uses custom 150-ohm titanium-plated PEN drivers, neodymium magnets and a patent-pending ventilation design.
Global availability is expected in December 2026. U.S. MAP pricing is listed at $699.99.
