Grass Valley will show new switching and control features for its AMPP-native Maverik X production switcher at IBC2026, including luma keying, WYSIWYG DVE control and timeline sequence automation.

The timeline tool is intended for timed, repeatable production actions such as opening sequences, transitions and recurring show elements. Grass Valley says sequences can trigger actions within AMPP as well as connected applications in its Alliance ecosystem.

The company is also extending K-Frame control panels into AMPP, allowing the established hardware surfaces to operate Maverik X. Maverik X already supports Grass Valley’s modular Maverik panels alongside Korona, Stream Deck and Skaarhoj control surfaces.

For production-audio workflows, Grass Valley’s IBC presentation will also include AMPP Commentator, a browser-based commentary application that returns audio into AMPP, and Audio Cart for playout of music, stings, audience effects and other short-form elements. AMPP Intercom, announced at NAB 2026, will be shown as part of the same distributed-production environment.

Grass Valley will demonstrate the developments at Booth 9.A01 during IBC2026, September 11–14 at RAI Amsterdam.
