Nugen says the loudness-metering update adds simultaneous stem views, timestamped in-plug-in notes, LDR measurement, updated delivery presets and support through 9.1.6.
Nugen Audio has launched VisLM 3, a new version of its loudness-metering software. The company says the update adds multistem monitoring, timestamped annotations and Loudness QC Report export for delivery, review and documentation workflows.
According to Nugen, stem monitoring can show readings, history traces and loudness distributions from multiple stems in one instance. That could let teams review loudness behavior across mix elements from a single meter rather than separate instances.
Nugen says it has integrated its Jotter annotation technology into the plug-in, enabling timestamped comments, flags and notes within a session. Alongside the new QC-report export function, those tools could support review handoffs and documentation of loudness-related findings.
The company also reports LDR (Loudness to Dialog Ratio) measurement, presets for EBU R128-s4 and ATSC A/85:2026-07, and channel-configuration support through 9.1.6. The presets indicate support for standards-oriented workflows but do not establish certification or approval by the EBU or ATSC.
VisLM 3 continues to provide integrated, short-term and momentary loudness measurement, LRA, dialog LRA, True Peak measurement and timecode-locked loudness history, according to Nugen. The company positions the software for broadcast, post-production, podcasting, music and immersive-audio work.
