Reuters and TVU Networks have won the IBC 2026 Innovation Award for Content Distribution for a live-news distribution workflow built around TVU’s MediaMesh platform.
IBC said Reuters replaced fixed-capacity infrastructure with a Global Shared Memory ecosystem that uses event-driven, API-orchestrated distribution. The approach is intended to let distribution capacity follow a developing news story rather than remain tied to a fixed infrastructure allocation.
The project includes integrations with InSync, Kinetiq, Sony, Elecard and TAG Video Systems, according to IBC.
IBC presented the awards on 13 September at the RAI Amsterdam. The Content Distribution award was one of four Innovation Awards announced by the organization for 2026.
