HK Audio Adds POLAR 15 MK2 Active Column PA System

The new POLAR MK2-series system combines a 15-inch subwoofer, integrated four-channel mixer, onboard DSP and a delay function that HK Audio says supports delay-line use.

HK Audio has introduced the POLAR 15 MK2, an active column PA system joining its POLAR MK2 range. The system pairs a 15-inch subwoofer with an aluminum column loudspeaker and an integrated M20 mounting point.

Its four-channel mixer provides two XLR/jack combo inputs for mic or line sources, a high-impedance instrument input and an auxiliary playback channel. Switchable phantom power supports condenser microphones, while Bluetooth 5.0 streaming and Bluetooth TWS pairing allow two compatible systems to be used for stereo playback. A USB-C port can charge devices including battery-powered wireless-microphone receivers.

For system processing, the POLAR 15 MK2 includes Music, Voice and DJ modes, three-band EQ, semi-parametric midrange EQ and five user presets. HK Audio says its delay function enables delay-line use. The column sections and spacer use a revised removable connector for transport, with carrying handles, a padded column bag and a subwoofer cover included.
