TV3, TV6, TV8 and TV10 are among the channels moved to Encompass Digital Media’s managed scheduling service, according to SVG Europe.
Viaplay has completed the migration of a number of free-to-air channels, including TV3, TV6, TV8 and TV10, to Encompass Digital Media’s Altitude Scheduling platform, SVG Europe reported on 28 September 2026.
The report describes Altitude Scheduling as a managed Scheduling-as-a-Service offering. Encompass says it combines cloud-native, AI-enabled automation and scheduling technology from Op2mise.ai with specialist scheduling expertise delivered through its centralised media operations centre in Riga, Latvia.
Viaplay vice president of content platforms Erik Ekbjörn said the deployment is part of the company’s strategy to modernise scheduling across its free-to-air portfolio. Working with Encompass had reduced manual effort, streamlined workflows and improved operational efficiency, he said; no quantified results were provided.
Scheduling teams must manage programme changes, rights restrictions, regional variations, metadata, advertising requirements and platform-specific delivery workflows, SVG Europe noted. Encompass CEO Marc Bruce said Viaplay’s migration had been successfully completed and characterised it as an example of demand for managed scheduling services.
SVG Europe named four of the migrated channels but did not disclose the total number included in the deployment.
