The EVOLVE 30M G2, EVOLVE 50 G2 and EVOLVE 50M G2 add Ethernet speaker linking and updated app control, with stated maximum SPL figures of 125 dB and 129 dB.

Electro-Voice has introduced its EVOLVE G2 portable powered column-loudspeaker series, comprising the EVOLVE 30M G2, EVOLVE 50 G2 and EVOLVE 50M G2. The three models became available worldwide on October 22, 2026.

The new range combines higher stated output with expanded control and linking options for portable live-sound systems. Electro-Voice rates the mixer-equipped EVOLVE 30M G2 at up to 125 dB SPL in a 42.8-pound (19.4 kg) package. The EVOLVE 50 G2 and mixer-equipped EVOLVE 50M G2 are rated at up to 129 dB SPL. All three have a stated 120-by-40-degree coverage pattern.

Electro-Voice says the G2 models retain the compact setup approach of the earlier EVOLVE range while adding QuickSmart Link, which connects two speakers by Ethernet cable, and extended Bluetooth range. QuickSmart App 3.0 provides iOS and Android control, including multi-speaker management, speaker grouping, True Wireless Stereo configuration and over-the-air firmware updates. Parameters can also be adjusted from each loudspeaker’s rear-panel control knob and full-color LCD.

The 30M G2 and 50M G2 include integrated mixers, while Electro-Voice lists Advanced Feedback Suppression, ducking and onboard effects across the range, with additional FX options on the mixer-equipped models. The company also lists switchable 48 V phantom power among the connectivity updates, but does not identify its availability by model in the supplied launch material.
