Flowthru says the expanded service brings lossless audio sharing, timestamped review, version tracking, credits, splits and release details into one project workspace.

Flowthru, formerly Sound Credit, has expanded from a credits-management service into a music-collaboration and release-preparation platform. The company’s stated aim is to keep audio delivery and review alongside the metadata and rights information needed as a project moves toward release.

Flowthru says artists, producers and their teams can share lossless audio, exchange feedback, track versions and manage release details within one workspace. Its desktop sync is intended to bring new mixes and bounces from a producer’s workstation into a project, while collaborators can stream supported audio in lossless quality and leave timestamped comments.

The release-administration component is central to the expansion: Flowthru says teams can collect credits and agreed splits while projects are active, then use that information for rights registrations and delivery to supported destinations. The combined workflow is intended to keep mix links, review notes and release metadata together, and could help teams capture contributor information before final delivery.

Sound Credit originally launched to connect recordings with the people and information behind them. Flowthru was founded by mastering engineer and author Gebre Waddell, who said the expanded platform is designed to keep files, feedback, credits and release details together through final release.
